Respiratory gating method for small-animal ct studies
Abstract:
The quality of chest CT images in small-animal studies is often limited by respiratory movement, which causes a loss of resolution in the reconstructed images. In this Master Thesis we will explore respiratory gating techniques to reduce the blurring effect related to breathing movement combined with advanced reconstruction techniques for low-dose preclinical CT systems.
