Bio
Paula Montesinos holds a Telecommunication Engineering degree from the Universidad de Oviedo and a Master’s degree in Telemedicine and Bioengineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. She recently received his PhD from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
She has more than seven years of experience in biomedical research. Her research experience is devoted to medical imaging, mainly to Magnetic Resonance Imaging. She has a broad experience on data acquisition, MRI protocol design, sequence optimization, sequence programming and on the development of reconstruction and post-processing algorithms. Her PhD thesis was focused on advanced acquisition and reconstruction strategies, mainly, fast MRI imaging methods such as compressed sensing
