Desarrollo de herramienta de análisis de RM preclínica mediante atlas de referencia.

Reference atlases on neurologic preclinical studies on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) are widely spread. They are mainly used for volumetric analysis and for combining them with other imaging methods. 

The aim of this project is to develop a tool that allows the creation of 3D anatomical rat brain atlas from a specific study group. The implemented tool combines multiple 3D images in order to build an average anatomical representation from a group of genetically identical rats. Results will allow estimating the natural anatomic variations of the structures, volumes, shapes and locations of the different individuals.
